Smell Like Tony Stark With New Iron Man Cologne!

In a rather odd, but also quite humorous marketing move, Marvel is partnering up with Diesel to offer a cologne that will allow you to smell like Iron Man himself. Despite the obvious jokes, Diesel swears that you won't smell like titanium and WD-40... or booze.

Diesel is repackaging their signature Only the Brave scent into special gold vials being clenched by a shiny red hand, as a merchandising tie-in for the upcoming Iron Man 2. The special edition cologne, pictured below, will retail for $67 and will be on store shelves starting in April, to capitalize on Iron Man 2's release in May.

Legendary Pictures to Take On Godzilla!

Legendary Pictures, which has produced such epic films as Clash of the Titans, Watchmen and The Dark Knight, is setting its sights on a new Godzilla movie, to be developed for a 2012 release. That's kind of ironic, seeing as how 2012 director Roland Emmerich followed up his 1996 hit Independence Day with a big budget reinvention of Godzilla in 1998.

Legendary will produce the film through their deal with Warner Bros. Pictures. An official press release has been published, which details the involvement of Legendary, Warner Bros., and Godzilla originator, Toho Co, LTD:

"Godzilla is one of the world's most powerful pop culture icons, and we at Legendary are thrilled to be able to create a modern epic based on this long-loved Toho franchise. Our plans are to produce the Godzilla that we, as fans, would want to see. We intend to do justice to those essential elements that have allowed this character to remain as pop-culturally relevant for as long as it has."

"Godzilla is a signature Japanese character which we have nurtured over the years. Clash of the Titans opens in standard 2-D and 3-D theaters this Friday, April 2nd!

The remake of the 1981 Ray Harryhausen special effects extravaganza stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes. Worthington stars as Perseus, bastard son of Zeus, who gets caught in a power struggle between the gods. When Hades makes a power play for Earth and the Heavens, Perseus must fight the deadly minions of the Underworld to keep his enemy from taking Zeus' power and conquering his world.

Vader’s Got 99 Problems, but Being Sith Ain’t One

What do you get when you cross Star Wars with a top 40 hit produced by Jay-Z? A Galactic Empire State of Mind.

Our friends at Collegehumor.com dropped this bit of Jedi goodness, which takes the plot of the first three Star Wars films (the originals, not the new ones) and refashions them to the tune of Jay-Z's own Empire State of Mind. The video, which you can see below, cleverly integrates footage from the original trilogy behind dancing Stormtroopers and Ewoks, not to mention a rapping Darth Vader, who spits lyrics like "Catch me rockin' boots and a cape like Superman. Hell, I made wearing black more famous than that Jay-Z can."
